PRDS is a unique nutritional management software program that has been designed by health care professionals working in nutrition services specifically for health care providers.

After researching the marketplace for tools to manage clinical data, our team found nothing suitable for the Canadian healthcare standards. Therefore, using our expertise and sense of creativity, the PRDS (Patient/Resident Data System) program was developed.

The PRDS program has evolved through practical applications in the field by bona-fide operators. It is now working successfully in many facilities. Changes are on-going and as a tool the PRDS program increases in value daily.

During July, 2002 we introduced PRDS II/Long Term Care, the software includes the full clinical services management and catering reports. Version II will interface with many Nursing/Administration Software Programs.

August, 2003,the PRDS II/Acute Care Module, with a 5-week menu cycle was introduced. This module operates as a “stand alone” version for acute care or chronic care facilities requiring a menu component. It will also work as an integrated module with the long-term care version. The integrated model would be most suitable for healthcare facilities that have acute care beds, chronic beds and long term care beds as defined as skilled nursing units.
